To Campers, Individuals, and Churches
What’s so great about the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays? Is it the time off from school or work, the extra time with family, or the platefuls of food? Yes, yes, and yes, those are all great. But what truly is so great is that we purposefully take time to be thankful to God for His provision of both physical and spiritual needs. Sure, we should always give thanks for these things, but let’s face the facts. Most humans get too busy to give God the thanks that He is due. Thanksgiving and Christmas cause us to refocus our attention. I actually believe that more people are in the will of God during these holidays than at any other time of the year. Why? Because the Bible says, “In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” (I Th. 5:18) Being that it is God’s will for |

us to give Him thanks, let us collectively give Him thanks as a Nation and as a world. Love in Christ, Daniel Osborne |
