To Campers, Individuals, and Churches

God is so good to us!  He has blessed Heather and I with another healthy baby.  By the way, it’s a boy!  He was born on November 3, 2009, and weighed 7 pounds, 14 ounces.  We named him Micah James Osborne.  Both mommy and baby are doing fine.

You know, God blesses us in so many ways.  He blesses us each and every day.  Too often, we as Christians begin to believe the Devil’s lie that God is angry and wants to hurt or destroy us.  But that is the furthest thing from the truth.  God loves us and wants the best for us, just as a good father would want for their child.

As Christians, we are God’s children.  He provides for us, protects us, and molds us so our lives can be fulfilling and joyful.  We have no reason to question or doubt our Father when He allows us to go through circumstances that we face in life.  He is simply preparing us for the future.

The Bible teaches that God is all-knowing and all-powerful.  It is important to combine the two qualities, because not only does he know what is best, but He is also able to do what He knows is best.  So truly, Father knows and Father does what is best for us.  Now that is grounds for rejoicing!

                                       Love in Christ,

                                                    Daniel Osborne
