From the Director
What does it mean to be kingdom-minded? In a day and time when the world is increasingly hostile to Christians, it is important that we catch on to the concept of “the kingdom.” In Christ’s short time of ministry on this earth, He talked about “the kingdom” countless numbers of times, so He too must have thought it was important. Specifically, “the kingdom” is God’s kingdom, and it refers to all the characteristics that God represents as well as all of the people who follow Him through faith. Some of the characteristics that God represents include: love, mercy, grace, peace, forgiveness, holiness, and righteousness. It’s also important to know that God’s kingdom has Christ as its appointed king. |

So a kingdom-minded individual is one who serves Christ as king, exhibits the characteristics of God, and recognizes the whole body of believers who are part of the kingdom. Kingdom-minded individuals do not lose focus of the big picture in order to focus on themselves or on a small portion, but rather focuses on Christ and His kingdom while laboring in their allotted portion. Knowing that Satan and his demons are doing everything they can to divide and destroy God’s kingdom, let’s be sure to stay in “the kingdom.” Let us serve Christ, exhibit Godly character, and unite in our efforts with citizens of the kingdom. Be a kingdom-minded Christian. Love in Christ, Daniel Osborne |
